But then the background and picasa helps the pictures too! Well my weekend is going way to fast. I haven't even bought groceries like I planned to. So what's there to eat??? Thank goodness we got invited over to Jamie's Aunt and Uncle's house for supper. They had some good food. Now I just have to worry about Breakfast? I'm pretty sure we have some breakfast bars to comfort us till I get to Mena. Lol! I hope everyone has a get weekend. What's left of it anyways.

Here's a First time for Dayton!
He bought himself a knife Wednesday night. I tried talking him out of buying one but since it was his money I let him. Which he already had a couple knifes but my dad"grandpa" dulled them for him. Okay so Yesterday after school Dayton and Braylen are outside playing and I was CLEANING their room and I hear Dayton scream kinda like he was playing and I ran to the front door to see him standing there holding his knife. He said I cut my thumb. Which at the time he didn't show me the cut hand so I'm thinking just a little cut because there was no tears. He knew he wasn't suppose to have the knife if I wasn't around. So I was ready to "Beat him." Then he shows me his other hand and I scream, then he starts to cry. Jamie is at work so I call him because I'm about to go crazy seeing all of the blood. Of course He doesn't answer so I call the main office and I tell the lady to get a hold of Jamie I'm on my way because Dayton just cut his thumb. This whole time I tell him to hold pressure on it. So when we get to Jamie's work the bleeding has stopped. A good thing. Jamie thinks it only needs a butterfly strip but the first aide lady at his work says to take him to get stitches. So we are at the after hour clinic and Dayton is crying not of pain but of fear. He would whisper,"Mom I've never been this scared."Talk about tears forming. Which by the way I didn't cry.I always cry when something happens to my boys but Jamie wasn't there and I knew that I had to be strong for Dayton. "Yeah me" But I was scared too! Okay so the doctor comes in and tells us yes you need stitches. Then Dayton repeats"Mom I've never been this scared" He was shaking. So sad I wanted to trade him places for that moment. But he was actually a Big Boy! He didn't scream just tears rolled down his little face. The doctor also gave him all the tools they used to sow him up. Which Dayton was tickled then. Then we went by Wal-Mart to get a new toy. Now everything was better. When we arrived home Braylen was excited to see him and wanted to know everthing. After Dayton fell asleep Braylen asked "can I kiss my brother"More tears formed! Of course I told him yes! Then Braylen hoppes in his bed. Now hopfully this will be Our only experience of stitches! Oh yeah he got 3 stitches in case you were wondering.

Braylen has fell in Love with the movie The Little Rascals. Probably because he is one. Ha! Anyways he can say a few lines from the movie and I wanted you to see. I think its funny and cute. My BIG Baby!

My mom,"Grandma" came over a few nights back and brought a bag of clothes that she found on clearance at J.P. and a footed p.j. was inside of the bag and after she left Braylen says thats for babies and decided to put it on anyways and then he found his play pacifer. Then he really started acting like a baby. So Cute! Where did those days go?


Everyday since he got the p.j., he comes home from Preschool and says where "my baby soup"(suit).

It's about time.

This is Braylen holding "Is a star student award." You have to get 5 stars to get this award. To my surprise I didn't even know he had 1 star because every time I pick him up he either has a letter on the board or a color change, which isn't good. He was excited to get this,which made me think we may be starting a new trend of "good behavior." As soon as I walked in the door he says"look mommy, I got a star" So awsome! The reason I titled this one "its about time" is because that's what I said to Braylen when we got to the car about him getting a star. Then when Jamie gets home those were his exact words too! Poor kid, He's just rotten. Okay today when I picked him up he's crying and cranky. When we get home he tells me"He had to sit in time out for hitting someone" I knew MY Star Kiddo wouldn't last long. Just look at his expression in this picture, should I say more. So much for the new trend.

Our luck with dogs!

But our luck with dogs is not good. Chowder our dog we have had since he was born. Got ran over Thursday evening by 1 of our neighbors. He called us to let us know and I went looking for him. Sadly we didn't find him. So for the next several days the boys and I would go walking looking in the woods by our house, No luck. We finally gave up hope for him Sunday after noon. I told the boys that the buzzards would find him.(sad I know) Yesterday on our way home from school Dayton asked if we could walk one more time to see if we could find Chowder. I told him "No." As we turned in our driveway there he was on the porch. Kinda lifeless. Of course Dayton starts crying and then Braylen says "I'm gonna cry too!" At this point we didn't know where he was hurt but we knew that he was hurting. He slowly got up and I told Dayton to go get so feed and has Dayton opened the shed door where the feed was Chowder jumped up and limped to the feed. So happy to see him moving I began to cry too. As you can see his mouth is messed up and he has a gash in is left leg and the right back leg is swollen. But he's not giving up. Jamie & I were the attending Doctors as you can tell. We didn't have anything to wrap his leg with so we used an old t-shirt and duck tape. LOL!

Update on Kujo. He has always looked sad. But he is doing lots better.

Sunday!

Today was such a great day. Thanks for all the prayers. Jamie made peace with one of the Family members. I still can't not yet,but in time I will. We are still along way from where we want to go with this situation. But yet I know there is more to life than letting this bother me. That's were those prayers came in I know. I woke up and the problem from the day before was not on my mind. Thanks again.

Life here Sucks!!!

I have tried to post a blog about what is going on here at my house but I just keep deleting it. So much to say but not sure you would understand. Just pray that everything gets better for us. Jamie never crys and he has shed more tears over this than I could imagine. Which makes me cry even more to know that he cares for me that much. Crazy to say but I just don't know what to do. The problem has nothing to do with our relationship yet. But its FAMILY problems. Im sure we will make it through but right now it hurts so bad. Hope your weekend is better than mine.

My 28th Birthday!

My Birthday was okay. Jamie woke me up and told me "Happy Birthday" before he left for work. Then when I got up around 5:45am. I found notes everywhere around the house saying "Happy Bithday, I love you!" Then when I woke Dayton up, He went to the bathroom then pops his head out to tell me "Happy Birthday", so sweet because I didn't think he would remember. Then when we get in the car to leave I found a note by the steering wheel. It reads......Sorry he would kill me if I told anyone. Lets just say I wanted to cry but held it back because I was headed to work and didn't want people to ask why I had been crying. I have to admit my eyes did water. Such a wonderful husband. Couldn't ask for anyone better, for that moment at least. HaHa...joking.

While I was cooking supper, Braylen asked "Mommy do you love me?" I said "No" to see what he would say and he replys with the same face as in the picture "i thought that you would?" "well I love you Mom" I said how do you show mommy you love her?"Well lets kiss then!"Braylen says. So cute! How could you not Love this Kid?



Braylen set the table for supper and he took his booster chair down and said " I go to scool now!" When supper was ready I asked him if I needed to put his chair back up there and he replys in a BIG boy voice, "No thank you,I'm fine!" Dayton asked "how does he always come up with the cute things to say?"


Dayton and Braylen are taking their baths after supper and Braylen doesn't want Dayton to wash his hair, of course I'm busy cleaning up in the kitchen so I tell Jamie to wash Braylen's hair for him. After Braylen gets out I help him get dressed and I ask "who washed your hair and cleaned your ears?" He replys "my daddy!" I say to him he's a good daddy, right? Braylen replys "I guess so"

My Husband!

This blog is about my husband. He has asked me several times if I have blogged about him and the answer has always been "no." So I thought that I would tell you about his new hobby. He loves the outdoors as in hunting any type of game but someone told him about trapping animals for their furs. He tried to trap some last season but didn't really have the things to be good at it. So at the end of last season he bought like $200.00 worth of trapping materials. So yeah he is crazy about this. It is alot of work and time. Which I complain about him spending more time out in the woods than at home. Now my boys are following his foot prints and are loving all this outdoor stuff and I have to enjoy it too so that I can spend time with them doing the things they like.

My Spelling Bee Champs!

WOO HOO!

Dayton brought home the 1st place trophy in the 2009 Van-Cove School Spelling Bee! Dayton and Hayden battled it out, but Dayton did it! Way to Go kiddo! His final word was "under." Now we have to study for county which is in Febuary.


Gavin also won the 3rd grade Spelling Bee. This is his 2nd year of the spelling bee but it still made me nervous to watch. Congrats, Gavin!

WHERE DID I GO WRONG?
I was so HAPPY on Friday both the older boys won the Spelling Bee. The happiness went away when I went down to Preschool to check in on Braylen.......He had his name on the board, his color was on yellow and as soon as I walked in the door his teacher tells Braylen to tell me what he called one of the teachers next door. WHAT THE HECK? I know he's no angel but he's just 3 and that should count somewhere, right? Well, his teacher called the other teacher over from next door and told her to tell me what he called her. She said he called her "retarded", not sure if they miss understood him but I made him tell her he was sorry and hug her, which I hope made her fell better because she looked like it really hurt her feelings for him to say that to her. Oops Sorry Ms.??? I took him to the bathroom and told him that if he couldn't be good at school he would have to go to the babysitters. He said "I will be good!" I just wanted to CRY to know that my son was causing such a mess in preschool.

Mornings!

My day started out BAD! I got Braylen up and took him to the bathroom an every morning thing and with boys 1st pee is crazy in the mornings. With Braylen he has major pressure anyways.That kid could pee over my car. Seriously! So I helped him pee by sitting him down and holding my hand over it so pee wouldn't go every where. Mind you I'm dressed and ready to go. I ask him if he is through peeing before i move my hand and he says "yeah " taking his word i move my hand and guess what i got PEED on. I started yelling "I thought that you were finished", "what the heck was that?" And covered it back up. Of course he starts crying and i ask him why he was crying ,I was the one who got peed on and he tells me" because you yelled at me!" "Boo who little boy now i have to change"were my thoughts. Mean! I know now that i think about it but that was just gross. My day got better i ate lunch with preschool because Shana had to leave early and they needed a sub so Mrs K asked me if i would sub for her HECK yeah anything to get out of that room for awhile.

Now i'm stressed about the Spelling Bee. Dayton got his words on Monday and The Bee is tomorrow. Scared, nervous and whatever else you can think of. It was his choice and I have pushed him hard to study. I'm not sure if 1st grade is actually Spelling Bee material? .......... Some of those words he hasn't even seen or heard of before. He's a smart kid and I think he will give it his best. But what parent doesn't want their child to finish first? Good Luck Dayton! Jamie says I'm being to hard on him but I have to differ. Dayton chose to be in the Spelling Bee and I think that he has studied hard and It will pay off tomorrow. Watch out 1st graders, Dayton's here to take it all. Yeah sure I have high hopes because I know he can do it. Jamie just doesn't want us to get our feelings hurt if he doesn't make it. I'm gonna get my feelings hurt either way(Happy hurt or Sad hurt) but I think thats part of it.

Kids say........

We were at Wal-mart and Braylen and I decided we needed to potty as we walked in the door. So as usual we use the handicap stall ( because it's big enough for me and the boys.) I don't like for them to stand outside the stall because I am afraid someone might take them. (Call me CRAZY!) Over Protective, maybe. Back to my point The boys always go to the bathroom with me even at home but for some reason on this day Braylen decides to crack me up. He comments when it is my turn to potty by saying" I can't watch this" and turns around while shielding his eyes. I couldn't help but laugh and hope no one else was in there. I told Dayton to get a picture with my phone.

Kim, Beware I know how much you love Dogs!

Our dog Kujo was hit by some people that busted in my mailbox right after Halloween. They hit him in the hind leg which broke his hip and caused him to get an infection from his leg rubbing which was nasty but anyway we couldn't afford a vet bill so Jamie took him out in the woods in Vandervoort and shot him. SAD I know but we thought that would be best. Jamie was sad that he had to do that and the boys were very upset too. Today a guy at Jamie's work was talking about a dog that came up to his house limping and that the dog had a scrap under his neck and Jamie asked him to decribe the dog and by his surprise he described Kujo. That makes it even sadder that the dog went though so much and was still alive. Jamie went by the guys house and called for him "Kujo" and he came running. Kujo is now back at home with us. He seems happy but he still favors the back leg. Amazing Dog. Also an interesting note Kujo was an April fools Dog! Plus that just shows you how good of a hunter Jamie is...Joking!

3months old!

I rearranged my bedroom while the boys were napping. This is Braylen giving me 2 thumbs up when he realized what I had done. He says wow Mom you did it good!

This was my 1st year to stay at home on New Years Eve. Gotta admit it was pretty fun. I made the boys take a nap so that they could celerbrate the New Year with me. It was pretty tough for Dayton. He goes to bed around 8:30- 9:00 every night and wakes up around 6:30- 7:00. We planned to play games, watch movies and shoot off fire works. WE DID IT!

Our excitment!

1. Braylen was the WINNER in Chutes & Ladders!

2.Dayton won on 1 hand of Go Fish, Crazy 8's and Uno! He also had the Old Maid once.

3. Gavin won 1 hand of Crazy 8's, Go Fish, and Uno! He also had the Old Maid once.

4. I won in the memory game we played with a deck of game cards, and uno, and I guess I was the winner of Old Maid because I never got her.

5. We watched Alvin and the Chipmunks. Braylen has seen this movie so many times he was telling us every part. "Ya watch this it's so funny!"

6. The fire works were not what we expected. The neighbors got their fire works out later and they were so much better. The boys watched them for inside the house.

Next year we'll have to do better, but for our 1st year to celerbrate at home I give it a B+.

For those wondering where Jamie was he was in the recliner sleeping. He fell asleep around 9:00p.m.
